Privacy

No personal data, and never anything to sell.

This is an early version of the game. It sends anonymous gameplay stats, used only to tune the game and make it better for players. There are no accounts, ads or tracking cookies.

What gets sent

If stats are on, the game sends these details about each run:

• Which game or training drill you played, and which controls you used
• Your score, how long you lasted, and what ended the run
• How accurate each hand was, and how quickly you retried
• How you rubbed: speed, which keys, and how often keys overlapped
• The hour of the day where you are
• The game's version

It also notes each visit, whether the "needs a keyboard" message appeared, and when you use a share button (not what you share, or where). Everything from one page load carries the same random code, so runs can be grouped into a play session. The code is new every time and is never saved, so separate visits can't be linked.

What doesn't get sent

Your name, email, or anything you type. The keys you press are only summarized as the rub pattern above.

Stats are stored with the date and hour, but no exact time, internet address or browser details. Like any website, the site's host (Cloudflare) handles your internet address to deliver the page, but the stats don't record it.

What stays on your computer

Your best scores, settings and a run history are kept in your browser's storage. They never leave it, apart from the details listed above. Clearing your site data for this page removes them.

Your choice

Untick "Send anonymous stats" on the start screen at any time, and nothing more is sent. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the game sends nothing at all.
